How It Works

The FogHog® interceptor uses time-tested gravity separation principles to remove grease and floating solids from wastewater streams.

  • Wastewater enters the FogHog unit from sinks, dishwashers, or other fixtures.
  • Warm water allows grease to remain in liquid form initially.
  • As the water slows inside the interceptor, grease and other floatables separate and rise to the surface.
  • Solids settle to the bottom while clarified water exits for further treatment or discharge.
  • Internal components are easily removable for cleaning and maintenance access

Low Maintenance with fewer moving parts and self-regulating with a control panel reduces operator intervention.
