InTank® Ballast Water Treatment
Treat Ballast Water Where It Sits – In the Tank
InTank® is a revolutionary ballast water treatment system that disinfects water directly inside the ballast tanks, eliminating the need for high-flow filtration during ballasting. This gives ship owners the power to treat ballast water after loading, without disrupting cargo operations or port schedules. InTank® = InVoyage™ + InControl™ + InCompliance

Why Choose the InTank® System?
InTank® offers a smarter, more flexible approach to ballast water treatment by disinfecting directly inside the tank. Ideal for vessels with limited space, challenging water conditions, or tight schedules, this system helps shipowners stay compliant without disrupting operations.
Treats Ballast In Place
Unmatched Operational Flexibility
No Disruption to Cargo Operations
Compact and Portable Options Available
Fully Compliant
How It Works
The InTank® system treats ballast water directly inside the tank using a recirculation and chemical injection process. This method allows treatment to occur during the voyage, with no impact on port operations or cargo handling.
- Wastewater remains in the ballast tank during the entire process
- Chemical treatment and recirculation begin after departure from port
- Treatment continues over the course of the voyage, typically 36 to 48 hours
- Disinfection and neutralization occur in-tank and are confirmed before discharge
- No filtration, no power use in port, and no dependency on water quality
