MarineFAST® M Series Systems – Compact. Reliable. Built for Tight Spaces.

The MarineFAST® M Series is a line of Type II Marine Sanitation Devices (MSDs) engineered to treat blackwater and graywater onboard commercial vessels with crews of up to 60 people. Designed for flexible installation in areas with low headroom or narrow access, M Series units can be disassembled to fit through watertight doors and reassembled across multiple compartments or decks. The system is fully certified to meet USCG and IMO MEPC.159(55) standards and delivers dependable treatment without sacrificing valuable space.

How It Works

The M Series uses a proven, efficient biological treatment process to break down and disinfect onboard sewage, all within a compact and contained system.

  • Sewage Inflow: Wastewater flows directly into the system without the need for a macerator or bar screen.
  • Aeration and Treatment: A compact blower sends air through internal piping to an airlift system. This recirculates and oxygenates the tank to support microbial breakdown on fixed media.
  • Disinfection: Treated effluent overflows into a chlorination system (tablet or liquid) and passes through a retention tank. Float switches automate level and pump control.
  • Effluent Transfer: Disinfected water is pumped from the wet well to open water. Custom discharge options are available as needed.
